What is Sport Massage?

Sport Massage encourages greater body awareness, self-care and overall well-being.

It is a purposeful treatment aimed at melting away your aches and pains and relieving stress.

What is Sport Massage?

Using a combination of deep tissue, myofascial release, stretching, and trigger point/knot release techniques, you can guarantee tight muscles will be loosened and muscle fibres realigned.

It is ideal following exercise, and can also be used for relieving discomfort related to repetitive motions or modern postural tension, such as ‘tech-neck’, shoulder and back ache.

What is Sport Massage?

It provides several benefits to people who enjoy physical activity:

  1. Muscle recovery - by encouraging blood circulation, massage can reduce muscle soreness and fatigue, aiding a quicker recovery, by facilitating the body's natural healing processes. Sports massage can enhance recovery from sports-related injuries, muscle sprains, or even post-surgery rehabilitation.

  2. Injury prevention – massage can identify and address potential issues and ensures muscles have optimum flexibility and length to ensure joints have a healthy range of motion.

  3. Increased flexibility and performance – sport massage techniques manipulate muscles, allowing them to be flexible, aiding performance in sport. It encourages joints to move healthily and freely, with less restriction.

  4. Stress relief – Physical benefits can alleviate mental stress, promoting a balanced and focused mindset.

  5. Sports Massage helps you embark on a journey to a healthier, more resilient and performance based you.
