What is Soft Tissue Therapy?

Soft tissue therapy promotes flexibility, addresses joint restrictions, improves circulation, and restores function.

It is therefore very useful in aiding injury prevention, improving posture and enhancing overall mobility.

What is Soft Tissue Therapy?

Soft Tissue Therapy is a specialised form of therapy that focuses on the treatment and rehabilitation of soft tissues in the body including:

  • Muscles

  • Tendons

  • Ligaments

  • Fascia

  • Connective tissues.

It incorporates specialised massage techniques, movement, and manipulation, to address muscle tension, dysfunction, pain, and promotes overall musculoskeletal health.

At a deeper level, Soft Tissue Therapy addresses imbalances in the body, by lengthening overly tight muscles and identifying weak muscles, which together can be the cause and source of dysfunction and pain, especially around joints.

What is Soft Tissue Therapy?

Often seen as a dynamic way to treat ailments, Soft Tissue Therapy uses deep tissue massage along with Muscle Energy Techniques and Short Tissue Releasing, to reduce muscle tension and rebalance structures in the body.

Soft Tissue Therapy helps to optimise physical wellbeing and promotes a healthier way of life.
